1. Do you accept my insurance?

Yes, there’s a good chance we do. We accept virtually all PPO plans. If you’re not sure, just call or email our office and we’ll be happy to verify that you’re covered.

2. I didn’t find Dr. Foster on my insurance’s list - can I still use my insurance?

Yes, even if Dr. Foster is not listed with your insurance carrier, Dr. Foster’s charges generally fall within the “reasonable and customary” limits for most plans, meaning that your reimbursement will not be negatively impacted. Our office will be happy to verify your coverage and reimbursement levels before your appointment.

3. Will you file my insurance claim for me?

Absolutely! Our insurance experts will file the claim on your behalf.

4. Will I owe any payment at the time of service? It depends based on the procedures performed during your visit.

If you don’t have dental insurance, payment is due in full when services are rendered or per your financial agreement that has been discussed with you prior to your appointment.

If you have dental insurance: It depends on the specifics of your insurance plan and the procedures that are performed during your visit. For all cleanings, exams and x-ray appointments, we will file your claim first with your insurance carrier, then mail a statement if needed. For all other dental procedures, we create a financial agreement that is discussed with you prior to scheduling your appointment. Payment will be owed as per agreement. We will file your claim and mail a statement if needed. Every Insurance carrier has several different fee schedules that are reasonable and customary. Based on what fee schedule your employer has chosen to use with your plan, along with plan frequency limitations and/or exclusions, will determine how your claim is processed. There is no guarantee with coverage/payment for procedures until the claim has been submitted. We strive to do our best regarding your coverage and patient responsibility.

5. What forms of payment do you accept?

The office excepts: Personal checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover . We also except Care Credit * (6 month deferred interest plan).

6. Do you accept patients without insurance?

Absolutely and we also offer a discount for patients over 65 !!

7. What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

If you are calling during our normal business hours, we will do our best to do same day scheduling. If you are calling after hours, and you are a patient of record and have a true dental emergency, Dr. Foster can be reached by calling 281-286-7954.

8. Do you offer “laughing gas” or sedation?

Yes! Dr. Foster has received extensive advanced training in conscious oral sedation. This allows us to offer a variety of options to help patients relax and have an enjoyable, pain free experience.
